It only happens in our minds

Annoyance cracked on Carius' features. He pulled up the revolver, shooting at anything that moved aside from Cat, Alice, Penny, the Hare who had been silent for a good period of the time, and Judas. "Alice, get back with Judas, Penny, and Cat, let's get these bastards down." He knew Alice had Judas contained, and Cat was going to kill a good portion of the guards. "God damnit!" Carius snarled as a slice was delivered to his midsection, but only seconds after was the guard decapitated by the heavy ammunition of the gun.

Judas smirked against the pull of Alice's hands and the dagger at his throat. "Oh Alice.. Oh how violent have you become? What are you waiting for? Kill me. Kill the kitty. Kill your beloved Cheshire's son!" He cackled feeling the blade slice nicks at his throat while he did so.

Cat was enjoying her rampage, occasionally licking the blood off of a free dagger, enjoying the metallic taste of the guard's life. She severed the head off of a guard using her daggers like scissors, cackling at the fountain that poured from where his head should have been. Her fiery eyes gleamed with destruction. She was careful not to hurt her group, though, knowing her penalty if she did. Of course she could easily take both parties down, but, even in her greasy heart there was a spot where she was affectionate to these pitiful creatures.

Alice hissed, "Shut up!" The girl desperately wanted to end his life, but her strength wavered. Was it not what her Cheshire had wanted? To end his son's ghastly attempts at power? The family had changed since her first visit, yet, could she really take another life? Alice desperately tried to decide what to do with Judas, wondering whether a life in prison could be more fit for him. Death was too easy an escape.

Carius was too busy killing off guards than to notice when Alice was taking care of Cheshire. Cheshire smirked and turned, the blade nicking and slicing just barely at his throat. "Your. Weakness. Follow me." Cheshire hissed, grabbing her wrist violently, his weapon long abandoned. He nodded to another group of guards who were coming towards the group. "You shall meet your royal highness the Queen." He began to pull her harshly towards the hall, guards going in front of the final entrance into the palace, blocking Carius' view as well as others. Penelope was surrounded by guards, her big brown eyes wide with fear. She was terrified. Her shield barely covered her frail form. She licked her lips, they were chapped because of how scared she was. Her mouth was becoming dry as well. She was terrified. Carius was too busy fighting guards to realize anything had happened.

He would find out, though. Very, very shortly.

Cat finished with her portion of the guards and then groaned when she saw Penny, "must I do everything around here?" she muttered before throwing her daggers through the air, whizzing passed Penelope and becoming lodged in the guards around her, whether that be in their hearts or heads. Whilst the others didn't know what happened, she grabbed one of their spears, impaling several on the single one, ramming it into the wooden door where it became stuck. The woman let out a quick breath, wiping her face and licking the blue blood that seeped out of a cut on her face.

Alice gulped, yet followed with her chin up. If she were to die, she were to die, but her name and her cause would live on. The girl from the outside had come too far to not make a difference.

Carius looked at Cat, then the realization hit him. "GOD DAMNIT ALL." Hatter yelled, rushing up behind the guards and shooting as many as he could before getting to Cat. "Stay here, protect Penny, the Hare has abandoned us. Of course he would. Fucking Mad March. What you will need to do, however, is just protect Penny. Alice has been abducted." He left her and rushed in where the guards were protecting the door. He shot above them and the bullet rained down in flares, once hitting the guards, threw them forward and back, to the ground. He stepped over the bodies and began running to find Cheshire and Alice.

Cheshire held Alice's wrist tightly. He would get her to the Queen. He would get her to the Queen safe for her to take care of her. "You know, Alice. .We could rule together." He purred, sensuously, a smirk on his lips.

Cat rolled her eyes, muttering, "I'm not a bloody babysitter." But she could see Carius was obviously very riled up, and was using that gun less-than sparingly, so she decided to just do as she was told. Caterpillar looked away from Penny, putting a cold, green arm on her shoulder, "Um. It's okay, Alice' corpse probably won't be horribly mangled?" the woman half-attempted to comfort the girl.

Alice hissed defiantly, "there was a time where I had considered that. But now I'd rather die than rule with you." The girl clenched her fists in rage, loathing everything that Judas was. She loathed that he had gone to the Queen's side, after she had trusted him and after she had made plans for the kingdom that would have largely involved him, had he remained loyal. But those days were long gone, and Alice figured she awaited death. She hoped the others would at least get away with their lives, and heads.

Penny's eyes welled up, her eyes staring at Cat. "I hope you never become a mother." She said, coldly to Cat. "I'm not staying here to have Alice get killed. You're coming with me." The mousy girl hissed, throwing down her bows and arrows, pulling up a dagger from one of the guard's corpses. She shoved through the double doors, both of them, annoyance etched on her features.

Judas smiled menacingly as they went into the Queen's chamber. The Queen of Spades looked at Alice. "This is the girl?" She asked the Cheshire, who smiled broadly. "You are going to defeat me, as well as you had the estranged Queen of Hearts?" She laughed, "You look so weak."

Caterpillar's eyebrows raised in surprise as she watched Penny get up and leave. She followed after her in a cool pace. "You're going to get yourself killed, Penelope," she muttered, but amused at this act of heroism. Cat was interested in how this would turn out. Her arms were casually at her side, the daggers in their sheaths. She can quick-draw fast enough, so no need to worry about that.

"Weak is one who stands alone," said Alice, simply, admiring at the Queen's empty chambers, save her and Cheshire. She had no fear, there was certainly no time for that. If she were to be executed, that would be the end of it. But, otherwise, Alice will fight to the death for her friends.
